10 Days in Dordogne

The Dordogne or Perigord is a region of exceptional natural and architectural beauty. Famous for its medieval villages and fortified towns, formal gardens and green woodlands, the Dordogne is also the home of foie gras. Among other specialties of the region are chestnuts, walnuts and truffles.

The tour will be based in Perigueux and Sarlat which is ideally placed for exploring the Perigord.

The focus of the tour is on leisurely visits to places of interest, travelling by the back roads and taking in small villages and the picturesque natural landscape. Highlights include the village of Brantôme, Rocamadour, wine tasting at St Emillion and a visit to a duck farm that produces delicious foie gras.

Accommodation, transport,excursions, all breakfasts and some other meals are included in the tour price.
