Visit the French Basque country at the foot of the Pyrenees in France's south west.

The tour will be based in Bayonne. Highlights include Biarritz, St Jean de Luz as well as a myriad of beautiful villages with typical Basque architecture.

Basque striped fabrics, seen throughout the region, are still being manufactured locally and provide a stunning splash of colour. We'll visit an artisinal workshop that produces this fabric as well as a large range of napery.

The regional gourmet trail includes delicacies such as Gateau Basque, Ossau-Iraty cheese and Kintoa pork which has made Bayonne ham world renowned.

Accommodation, transport, excursions, all breakfasts and a selection of meals are included in the tour price.
